What milling blocks does it fit?
The Block Buddy works with standard CEREC-compatible milling blocks including IPS e.max CAD (all translucencies — HT, LT, MT, XHT), VITA Suprinity, VITA Mark II, Celtra Duo, Obsidian, VITA Enamic, GC Initial LiSi Block, Shofu Disk HC, and inCoris TZI. Most blocks with a standard sprue stub will fit. Not sure? Contact us before ordering — we're happy to confirm.
How does it mount to the wall?
Mount your Block Buddy using the included standoffs and four pilot holes. Works on drywall, painted wallboard, and most clinical wall surfaces. A standard drill and screwdriver is all you need — no special tools, no contractor required. All mounting hardware is included. Most installations take under 15 minutes.
Can I get my practice logo on it?
Yes. The Signature and Studio Set tiers include a custom laser-engraved logo panel. Once you order, we'll follow up to collect your artwork file — vector format preferred (PDF, AI, or SVG). We handle the engraving in-house at JJ Designs. The Solo does not include a logo panel, but you can ask us about adding one as an upgrade.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship from our shop in Cornelius, NC within approximately 1 week of order confirmation. After submitting your request, we'll confirm your order and follow up within 1 business day. You'll receive a payment link and tracking information once your order ships.
Do you offer custom sizes?
We may be able to accommodate custom panel sizes or configurations depending on your wall space and block inventory. Reach out through our contact form and describe what you need — we'll let you know what's possible and provide a custom quote.
Do you offer bulk or group practice pricing?
Yes. If you're outfitting multiple operatories, a group practice, or a DSO location, contact us for volume pricing. We're happy to work with dental group purchasing coordinators and office managers on larger orders.
What if I'm not sure which configuration is right for me?
A good rule of thumb: the Solo and Signature are great for a single milling setup with one primary shade inventory. The Studio Set is ideal for practices that carry a wide range of shades and materials across multiple block brands. If you're still unsure, contact us — describe your current block situation and we'll recommend the right fit.
How does The Block Buddy help reduce overhead?
CEREC milling blocks are one of the most significant per-case costs in an in-house milling practice. Disorganized block storage leads to blocks being used out of order, expired blocks discovered too late, duplicate orders placed because you can't see what you already have, and mid-case scrambles that cost time and stress. The Block Buddy puts your entire inventory in plain sight — so you use the right block at the right time, reorder before you run out, and eliminate the hidden waste that comes from not knowing what you have.
What is your return or warranty policy?
Every Block Buddy is inspected before shipping. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right. Because each system is custom-made to order, we are not able to accept returns for buyer's remorse. Questions about a specific situation? Reach out and we'll work with you.
